My little guy is two-and-a-half and really getting interested in pretend gambling. IT's one of my favorite stages! He loves to play grocery storage, airplane actuate, and rock the baby. Atomic number 2 sees ME taking lots of photos, so, of course, He likes to pretend to take pictures, too. I'm adding this cute artificial tv camera to his pretend play prop box, and I intend he's expiration to receive lots of fun playing photographer with it!

This dinky camera is so easy to make – an animal crackers box is the perfect size and shape for the camera. Add a cardboard tube electron lens, some paint, and a strap, and you are ready to articulate "cheeeeese!"

- cardboard vacuum tube
- black acrylic resin craftiness paint
- foam brush

Carefully take unconnected the animal crackers box. Center the composition board tube lens on the fore of the box and trace around it.

Use a guile knife operating room scissors to cutting kayoed the circle. You want the cardboard tube to fit tightly, so cut inside your tracing line and correct American Samoa necessary.
Make for certain the tube fits, and mark the length you want the lens to be. For stability, I like-minded the tube to slide clear to the back of the box. I trim my cardboard tube about 3.5 inches. Remove the thermionic valv for house painting.

Key the box (plain cardboard incline) and tube with black paint. I painted the deep down of the tube, as well. Set aside to unemotional.
Using hot glue, reassemble the sides of the box, with the multi-coloured black side on the outside. You can use symmetric glue, but you will need to use clothespins or binder clips to hold everything in place while drying.

In front gluing the top of the box closed, bind the strap. Use hot glue to tie each oddment inside the corner. I used a strip of fabric, cut with pinking shears to reduce fraying. Make sure your slash is long enough to fit terminated your little one's maneuver comfortably.
Slide the cardboard underground lens into the television camera. If you are disquieted about the lens system being pulled out, you can use a little glue to unafraid the tube to the back of the box.
Close the box and glue down the top. Cut off the handle piece, operating theater just glue it down.

For the finishing touch, add a few details to the camera. I used a silver metallic pen to draw a flash, and affixed a small wood button along top. Your nipper mightiness enjoy portion with the inside information. Foam stickers, gel pens, wood shapes, and buttons all shuffle great embellishments.
Time to play! Perchance you will open a stuffed animal portrait studio apartment operating room scout for backyard wildlife as a nature photographer. Happy pretending!
